A tale of two OCs, Chapter 1: A foreboding nightmare

Author's notes: I am trying something new. I am writing a fanfic that has the main characters as OCs and they are going to be put into different fandoms. I hope this works out. This is a gift for my boyfriend whom I love very much.

"Help me!"

Aria could hear his pleas for help ringing in her ears. She frantically searched for the boy who needed her but she couldn't find him. Everything around her was complete and utter darkness.

"HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE! I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MOREARRRRRREGGGGGHHHHH"

Several flashes of a bluish white light pierced through the darkness. Aria could feel a dangerous heat coming from it and though her instincts told her to flee, she ran towards the flashes, mentally preparing herself for the worst.

The moon peeked out from behind a cloud and she just barely make out a clearing in the distance. She was pretty sure that was where the screaming was coming from. She ran towards the sound of his voice but it was too dark to see anything except blue flickers of light reflecting off glass. The glass was behaving strangely from what she could tell. It was moving around as though attached to something and it appeared to levitate off of the ground. Is it a drinking glass? But it doesn't have that shape... What if its a knife?! I have to save him!

BZZZZZZZZTTTTT

Just as another flash of light lit up the clearing, Aria was jolted awake by the obnoxious buzzing of her alarm.

Right! Its my first day at True Cross Academy! I can't be worrying about some stupid nightmare right now.
